The Complete Guide to Oasis Poker at 3d2n Malaysia
What Is Oasis Poker and What Makes It Different?
Oasis Poker is a variation of Five Card Stud Poker that originated in Caribbean casinos before gaining widespread popularity across Europe and eventually spreading to Asia. It is now available on the 3d2n platform and has become one of the most-played table games among Malaysian players. What sets Oasis Poker apart from standard poker is its exclusive card exchange feature — where you can choose to swap between one and five cards before making your final decision to Raise or Fold. This single distinction completely changes the dynamics of the game and opens up a far wider range of strategic possibilities.
At 3d2n, Oasis Poker is available in video poker format, playable 24 hours a day, 7 days a week — no waiting for a free table. Unlike poker played against other players, you only need to beat the dealer, making the game more relaxed and far less pressured. This is especially appealing for players who are new to poker and not yet ready for the more intense competition of player-vs-player formats.
Understanding the Card Exchange Feature in Oasis Poker
The card exchange feature is the heart of the Oasis Poker experience. Once you receive your initial five cards, you need to assess your hand strength and decide whether a swap could work in your favour. Each card you choose to exchange costs one Ante unit. So if your Ante is RM 50 and you want to swap two cards, the exchange cost is an additional RM 100.
The decision to swap cards is a risk-reward calculation that requires careful thought. For example, if you're holding four cards of the same suit — just one card away from a Flush — swapping that one card could be well worth it, since a Flush pays 5:1 on the Call Bet at 3d2n. However, if you're already sitting on a Full House or Four of a Kind, swapping any card at all would be a poor move — you're already holding a very strong hand!
Oasis Poker vs Other Card Games at 3d2n
Many players ask — why choose Oasis Poker over Andar Bahar or Blackjack? The answer depends on what you are looking for in a gaming experience. Andar Bahar is a fast-paced, straightforward game — you make a single binary decision (Andar or Bahar) and the outcome is known within 30 seconds. It suits players who prefer rapid action and a high number of rounds per session.
Oasis Poker is best suited for players who enjoy strategic thinking and layered decision-making. Each round involves at least two or three key decisions: whether to swap cards (and how many), whether to Raise or Fold, and whether to place the side jackpot bet. Players who take the time to learn basic Oasis Poker strategy can significantly improve their RTP compared to those who play randomly. At 3d2n, the right strategy can push RTP to 97.04% — among the highest of any casino game available on the platform.
Play Oasis Poker on Mobile at 3d2n
One of the things Malaysian players appreciate most is how easy it is to play Oasis Poker on mobile. At 3d2n, there's no need to download any additional app — simply open your preferred browser, whether Chrome, Safari, or Firefox, log in to your 3d2n account, and find Oasis Poker in the game library. Within seconds, the game loads and you're ready to play.
The Oasis Poker interface at 3d2n has been carefully optimised for mobile screen sizes. All five of your cards are displayed clearly, the Hold/Release button for each card is easy to tap, and the Raise, Fold, and Deal buttons are neatly arranged at the bottom of the screen for comfortable one-thumb reach. Many Malaysian players enjoy their Oasis Poker sessions at 3d2n while waiting for the LRT, during lunch breaks, or winding down at home in the evening.
